Bei HALCO lieben wir die Gelegenheit, unser Team zusammenzubringen, Spaß zu haben und eine großartige Sache zu unterstützen. In diesem Jahr haben wir den Pfannkuchentag stilvoll gefeiert mit einem Tag voller köstlicher Leckereien und spannender Spiele – alles zugunsten von Save the Children. Da das gesamte Team beteiligt war, war es ein fantastischer Tag voller Lachen, Kreativität und freundschaftlichem Wettbewerb.
The morning kicked off with the much-anticipated pancake-making competition. Staff were invited to bring along their favourite toppings to craft the most delicious and visually appealing pancake creations. From chocolate spreads and fresh fruit to classic lemon and sugar, everyone brought something unique to the table. Once all the pancakes were plated, the entire team had the chance to judge and vote for the prettiest pancake. The winner, with a truly artistic masterpiece of a smiley face, was awarded a special prize and, of course, ultimate pancake bragging rights!
After a morning of sweet treats, the fun continued in the afternoon with an energetic team challenge – the ‘Stepping Pancakes’ game. A creative twist on the traditional stepping stones game, teams had to work together to cross a ‘river’ using designated ‘pancakes’ as stepping stones, making sure no one touched the floor. It was a test of strategy, coordination, and teamwork! With three teams competing, the race was on, and after plenty of laughter and some near-misses, Team 2 emerged victorious. They celebrated with a well-deserved big bag of chocolates to share.
We successfully raised an impressive £300 for Save the Children, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children around the world. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together for such a meaningful cause.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, contributed, and helped make the event a great success. We can’t wait to see what creative and exciting ideas our next charity event will bring!
